the "boucheries" are the BEST in france ... we esp. loved the bowls of homemade pates, that you could just get a big scoop of and then head out for a picnic. just thinking about it makes me hungry ...

famous "calissons d' aix" treats, that are all over provence.

we had to leave the next day very early to get our train to the tarn gorge (to start our next hike!) and our host left this lovely breakfast basket on our doorstep in the morning. so sweet!

Eating like the French ... in San Francisco

a very belated thank you meal with snorkel mom and dad at le p'tit laurent in glen park last night, for all their amazing help with our wedding. merci!!
