Photographs from a Walk in the Mission, San Francisco

Ariel and I took a walk in the Mission, and a few images caught my eye, and I thought I'd share them even though they relate to nothing in particular.  Above is a photograph of a banana plant blooming in December, with odd icicles clinging to the petals.  Below, a man works on (what I assume to be) a telephone line junction box. His jacket nicely matches the blue mass of jumbled wires which remind me of a cerebral cortex.  Apparently the most important thing to remember when working on such electronics is to "Bring Your Own Chips."
