our bathroom counter is looking very unique these days. we're trying to use less and less store bought products (since they're full of who-knows what!) and we've been making our own! last weekend karebear and suzy q came over and we all made the most awesome beauty products. what suprised us the most was how easy they were to make and how cheap the raw ingredients were (many of which were organic).
what we made ... from left to right:
peppermint bath salts, goatmilk oatmeal bath, body scrub, coconut citrus lotion, vinegar hair wash and brown sugar face scrub.
we also had my dad over and he gave us a lesson in perfume making and everyone got to make their own unique scent. way fun!
