Calla Lilies
Spring has finally arrived in our backyard and the plants are starting to bloom. Some of the first flowers to open every year are the elegant and lovely calla lilies. These photos remind of us paintings by Georgia O'Keeffe and her ability to isolate the flowers to capture their beauty, without any other distractions.
We photographed several weddings where the bride had a bouquet made of calla lilies. They are such gorgeous flowers, but also fairly hardy and tend to hold up well during the whole wedding day. What is blooming in your yard right now? Leave a comment and let us know!
Happy spring!
