Hiking in Shito, Taiwan

this bridge made me think of home :) 

 people in taiwan really love hiking ... but then after they hike, they like to take naps! lots of naps! right in the park! so awesome!

Bike Ride near Taichung, Taiwan

it started to rain while we were biking ... and we came across a winery ... what a perfect stop! fermented onion wine anyone??

we also got some bing with a fermented grape topping ... yum!

Tainan City, Taiwan

this was our day of eating and biking. this pudding (above right) was super famous (kind of a baked rice pudding with a soy sauce topping) and has been made at the same place for almost 50 years.

uber famous pudding tofu ... mine was in lemon sauce and sam's was topped with green beans.
