Meet Samuel and Ariel:

Renowned photographers, Sam and Ariel Soto-Suver are a husband-and-wife team based in San Francisco, and cover weddings and events in the Bay Area and abroad (destination weddings satisfy our travel lust). This blog is a compilation of our professional work and a visual diary of our loves. We are primarily fine art wedding photographers, and are motivated by our strong belief that every family deserves high-quality heirloom art that celebrates and preserves their family's history. In addition to being wedding photographers, Ariel is a photojournalist for the San Francisco Bay Guardian. She enjoys the challenge of capturing the important and ephemeral moments in life, and sharing her photographs with her Bay Area readers. Samuel is an attorney, having practiced mostly civil rights law; and moreover, he is a former theater director where he initially developed his skill for using visual concepts to tell beautiful and compelling stories.

When we are not taking wedding photographs, we love to cook and host dinner parties, hike California trails, and travel the world with our cameras to document the wonderful people we meet (like the friendly Hmong tribes in the jungle of Laos) and the beautiful animals we meet (like the wild pygmy elephants and proboscis monkeys of Borneo).
