the free farm stand was pretty amazing this weekend. we came home with so much food -- including all these organic heirloom tomatoes -- that we turned into sauce with some fresh basil and garlic.
sam also made free farm stand peach sauce and put in some of our foraged blackberries.
then we headed out for dinner with the mac's. i made a lemon poppy seed cake -- the meyers came from the backyard :)
we helped leenie make dozens of empanadas -- stuffed with homemade carnitas and veggies. oh so good!
and then we ate it all ... in their backyard, that reminds me of 'alice in wonderland.'
